Seventy percent of this blend of six varietals (principally, 50%, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional) spent 14 months in stainless steel tanks with 30% aging for 16 months in used French oak barriques until blending.  The result is a well-structured and concentrated red wine with intense aromas and flavors of mature red fruit with hints of violets and esteva, a local Portuguese herb that has sweet balsamic aroma with a hint of earthiness, all leading to a long, persistent finish.  14% ABV QUI
