In 1950, Paul Fournier took over the family's two hectares (about 5 acres) of vineyards in Sancerre and, in over the past 64 years, he, his sons and grandchildren have been steadily expanding an d growing the family's holdings, now exceeding over 60 hectares (about 150 acres) in the beautiful regions of Sancerre, Pouilly Fume and Menetou Salon.  This is a quality Sancerre at less than half the price!  Clean, bright and refreshing, this is a perfect little Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley with aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, citrus and spice with vibrant acidity and minerality -- ideal with seafood and goat cheeses. 12% AVC  RWC
