Gerard Bertrand is one of the most dynamic and brilliant winemakers from the South of France, where he owns seven estates among the most prestigious terroirs of the Languedoc-Roussillon region.  In 2012, his winery was named the "European Winery of the Year" by Wine Enthusiast and he was selected as the "Red Wine Maker of the Year" by the International Wine Center.

The region of Picpoul de Pinet is one of the earliest civilized places on earth and has been a wine-making area for over 2000 years.  Picpoul is an ancient white-wine grape variety of Southern France that grows on rocky hillsides and produces a fresh, dry white wine that is very aromatic with aromas and flavors of green apple along with a hint of peach and pear.  12.5% ABV RWC
