This ripe, full-bodied, rich and soft-textured sparkling rose displays aromas of cherry fruit and flavors of guava and strawberry jam on toast, great as an aperitif or with jambalaya, paella, quiches and fritattas, grilled shrimp and wild salmon. 12% ABV LION
* Cremant (pronounced "cray-mawn") designates sparkling wines made by the method champenoise but falling outside the boundaries of the Champagne region in France. By law, 30% of the blend called Cremant de Borgogne must come from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris or Pinot Blanc grapes, while the rest may come from lesser varietals, such as Aligote. Cremants are less bubby than Champagnes, more along the lines of gentle fizz rather than the nose-tingling experience of Champagne.
