2012 Camestri Roero Arneis

Piemonte Italy

From vineyards first planted in the 1850s in the hills of Roero northwest of Alba, this Arneis (which means "rascal" in the local dialect) is dry, lively (rascal?) and fairly full in body with aromas and flavors of grass, straw, almond, herbs, tangerines and wet stones with good lively acidity and a long, very clean finish. Great as an aperitif. 13% ABV OMC
